48. Ohio State currently has 48 victories against that team up north. While they still trail by 10 total victories in the series, they’ve absolutely dominated of late. Since 2004, the Buckeyes have only lost once to the Wolverines. I’m predicting that the Buckeyes take the series lead within the next 15 years (and if they don’t, this whole Internet fad should finally be over by then, so nobody will be able to come back and call me out). Last year’s contest may have been one of the best in the history of The Game. Both teams were ranked in the top 3 in the country for just the second time ever, and it was the first time in the history of the rivalry that it went to overtime. The Buckeyes managed to pull out a double overtime victory that included a controversial first down call that went in Ohio State’s favor. As an “unbiased” observer, I’d say the refs got that one right. Also, as an “unbiased” observer, I’d say that Jim Harbaugh can suck it. It’s going to be tough to top last year’s game, but I think I’m okay with that. I’m not sure my heart can handle the stress of another tight one like that. I’m thinking more along the lines of a nice, easy 30+ point victory as the Buckeyes cruise into the Big 10 championship game at 12-0. Yeah, I think that will do just nicely.
