41. With the departure of Pat Elflein, Billy Price returns as the clear leader of the Ohio State offensive line. Price comes in with 41 consecutive starts for the Buckeyes, which is more than the other three returning starting offensive linemen combined (39). Price is poised to break the Ohio State record for consecutive games started (50), which is currently held by former Buckeye and current Cincinnati Bearcats head coach Luke Fickell. Similar to Elflein last year, Billy Price will be making the transition from guard to center for his senior season. The offensive line play was shaky at times last year, which may have contributed to some of the struggles in the passing game down the stretch. Price and Company will have to step it up this year. If they can open up some holes for Mike Weber and give JT enough time to get the ball downfield, this offense could be dangerous. And if that happens, don’t be surprised if Billy Price’s name is mentioned as a favorite for the Rimington Trophy at the end of the year.
