Hamilton and Duvall Make Some Sweet Plays in the Outfield

The Reds haven’t been too much fun to watch recently, what, with all of their losing.  I’ll still flip on the games each night to see if we’ve got a shot at winning.  In last nights game, Billy Hamilton and Adam Duvall both had some spectacular plays in the outfield within about 15 minutes of each other.

Billy’s wall climb didn’t seem 100% necessary to snag that ball, but at least it looked cool.  Did you know that he was fast?

This play is more impressive because of the throw after the catch.  The baserunner definitely didn’t think that Duvall was going to get to that ball.  After Duvall catches it, he unleashes a ROPE to the cutoff man to double up the runner.

I’m always looking for the silver lining during losing seasons; at least the Reds are fun to watch every once in a while.
