Jefe’s 25 Beers ‘til Christmas: Day 1

🎶 It’s the most wonderful time for a beer; kids make you crazy; your work makes you lazy so let Jefe bring you some cheer; as he tries twenty-five holiday beers! 🎶 Welcome to the 1st day of Jefe’s 25 Beers ’til Christmas. Each day leading up to Christmas I will try a new holiday beer and let you know what I think by rating all the beers I try on a 1 to 5 scale.

December 1st:

Fistmas by Revolution Brewing (@RevBrewChicago)

Beer Type: Red Ale

Location: Chicago/ Da Windy City/ Da Bears

I was a very big fan of this beer; it has a very smooth taste a lot of holiday brews tend to have an awful aftertaste; not Fistmas. This is the perfect holiday ale to sip on during a cold winter night while watching Clark fiddle with those damn lights. The nice part about this beer compared to most holiday beers that I have tried in the past is the fact that you can drink the six-pack and not feel like you’ve entered craft beer hangover hell.

My overall rating for this beer is a 4.0, I highly recommend adding this to your list of must try holiday beers. Chicago definitely has earned the right to fly the “W” on this one, but go Redlegs! Enjoy da “Lake” and sitting on da “Ike” you Illinoisans.
