Welcome to the tenth day of Jefe’s 25 Beers ’til Christmas. Today we try an awesome beer from an awesome brewery located in the greatest city in the Midwest, Cincinnati. I have tried several beers from Rhinegeist and I have also visited their brewery, so I was extremely excited to taste and review this beer. This beer has been recommended to me by so many friends, so I will be reviewing it on a 1 to 5 scale and seeing if it can live up to the hype.

Beer Type: American Amber/ Red Ale
Location: The 513, The Nati, The real Queen City, Cincinnati!
I am rating this beer a 4.25. Dad is very smooth and easy drinking beer. What makes this such an awesome winter/ holiday beer is that it gives you that warm feeling as you are drinking it. The hops pair so well with the subtle sweet aftertaste it makes for such a smooth drinking experience, which is typically hard to get with hoppier beers. This beer made me want to just sit in front of a fire and watch Christmas movies. If it is cold outside and you are craving a sixer this should definitely be on the top of your list.
