Welcome to the eleventh day of Jefe’s 25 beers ’til Christmas, today I will be reviewing a Cleveland brewery again. It’s no secret Cleveland is a town I enjoy making fun of whether it’s Lebron leaving again or another Browns let down. But even I can admit when they do something good and I’ll admit Great Lakes Brewing Company is no joke, I love their beer. Today I will be rating another beer from this brewery on a 1 to 5 scale.
Christmas Ale by Great Lakes Brewing Co. (@GLBC_Cleveland)
Beer Type: Winter Warmer
Location: The Land, Mistake by the Lake, Cleveland.
I am rating this beer a 4.25. Christmas Ale is the Christmas present you’ll want to open early. This beer had such a great holiday taste and aroma, between this and the first snow this weekend I am ready for Santa to squeeze his fat ass down that chimney. I really caught the honey taste at the end which was nice and it gave the beer a nice smooth finish. I have to say Cleveland when it comes to beer you really have it figured out. I may even have to plan a visit to Great Lakes Brewing Company really soon. Ah, who am I kidding until they open a second location in Cincy I’m not visiting. All joking aside make this a must add to your holiday beer list.
