Welcome to the thirteenth day of Jefe’s 25 Beers ’til Christmas today I tried another hometown beer. It was from a brewery I have tried before, but I am not very familiar with them. I will be rating their Winter Ale on a 1 to 5 scale. I have been a big fan of Cincinnati beers so far, so how did this one rate?
Winter Ale by Mt. Carmel Brewing Company (@MtCarmelBrewing)
Beer Type: Winter Warmer
Location: The Nati, The Real Queen City, Cincinnati!
I am rating this beer a 3.2. This was a different beer than anyone of the ones I have tried so far. I really had to sip on this beer to get a good sense of what I thought of it. As I took my first swig I got an almost metallic taste, but as I kept drinking it I had a sweet orange and a cinnamon taste which was actually pretty nice. Overall not my favorite beer I have tried from Cincinnati, but I would definitely recommend enjoying this beer and making it one of your picks in a create a six-pack. If you try Mt. Carmel Winter Ale or any of the beers I have reviewed so far please share your rating and opinion below.
