Now that we have a sufficient sample size to review, we provide all of our rational and irrational overreactions from the Reds’ 1-1 start. Some of the new comers haven’t gotten off to the hottest of starts, but on the bright side, they have new souvenir cups at the stadium now. We also give our thoughts on this year’s Final Four, which didn’t quite turn out exactly how we expected. Also, but congrats to Mac for winning the first annual Riverfront Radio bracket pool.
Here on Riverfront Radio, we’re ready for the Cincinnati Reds Opening day! We talk our frustrations with the UC Bearcats bowing out early from the NCAA tournament yet again, and Scooter Gennett’s injury/Senzel’s playing situation. Enjoy the episode!
On this week’s episode of Riverfront Radio we’re talking March Madness as we breakdown UC’s questionable seeding despite having won the AAC Tournament. We each give our Final Four predictions and we propose a show bet on who has the best bracket this year. We also discuss some of the maddening decisions the Bengals have made so far in free agency as our optimism for this season is already starting to dwindle.
Thanks for checking out this weeks episode of Riverfront Radio. Whit, Jeff, Ben and Dan get into the recent rumors about the Bengals being interested in trading for Josh Rosen, and get into Antonio Brown being dealt out of the division. We also get into the Reds having good problems with decisions that need to be made about the roster. Enjoy the show!
Welcome to the first ever episode of Riverfront Radio. Join Dan, Jeff, Mac and Whitty as we introduce ourselves and provide a preview of things to come on the new podcast. We power rank the new head coaches in Cincinnati professional sports and talk about why we’re feeling optimistic about the direction of the Reds and Bengals (even though everything in recent sports history tell us we shouldn’t).
Hue Jackson is officially back with the Cincinnati Bengals, and Marvin Lewis is fooling us into believing that he has everything under control. We also chat about the Steelers and Le’Veon Bell being an unrestricted FA at the end of the season, and the Chiefs/Rams game being moved out of Mexico City. Our fantasy draft this week is of our favorite sports beefs, with the recent turmoil in the Warriors camp between KD and Draymond Green being the inspiration. Enjoy the show!
This week the Nati Boys discuss the Bengals’ return from the bye week, where they should be getting a few key players back from injury but also find themselves without A.J. Green for several weeks. We react to Dez Bryant signing with the Saints, who just happen to be the Bengals’ first opponent back from the bye. The Reds recently announced that they plan on wearing several throwback uniforms throughout the year, in honor of the team’s 150th anniversary. Finally, we wrap up the show with a fantasy draft of costumes and skins we’d most like to see added to Fortnite, inspired by the news that NFL uniforms will now be available within the game.
