Well, it happened, The Cleveland Browns finally decided they were done with their 9th coach in 18 years. I think it may have had something to do with his 36 losses, but who am I to speculate. The three wins seemed to be enough for Jimmy Haslam (Owner), there were some reports he wanted changes but not at the head coaching position. In the end, John Dorsey (GM) helped him come to a decision that the best direction for this team was to move on from their head coach. Hue I still love you and let’s just get this out of the way, welcome back to Who Dey Nation.
As of early this morning, the #Browns could have gone one of two ways: Make a change at OC or make a change at head coach. Owner Jimmy Haslam sounded like he wanted to keep Hue Jackson. GM John Dorsey wanted to move on. In the end, they moved on from Hue Jackson.
Moving on, In a bold attempt to reinvent themselves the Browns have named Defensive Coordinator, Gregg Williams as the interim head coach. You may remember this psycho from HBO’s Hard Knocks, where he became a show favorite because of his angry outburst during pretty much every episode. (below is one of my personal favorites). Gregg Williams and Hue Jackson are like oil water when it comes to coaching, which may be the inspiration to his promotion. Hue has always been thought of as a players coach which works for some teams, but the Browns have lacked discipline and direction since they returned to Cleveland in 1999. Williams with a more aggressive approach will attempt to change the misfortunes of one of sports longest running jokes. GOOD LUCK! (LIAM NEESON VOICE)

It’s Memorial Day weekend the perfect time to fire up that grill. If you’re like me a bag of Grippo’s BBQ potato chips is being consumed as you wait for them delicious burgers and dogs to cook. These chips are a staple of any holiday cookout, the barbecue seasoning is the perfect blend of spices that keep eating one an impossible task. That’s why when I saw Grippo’s BBQ Beef Jerky made by Pap’s I had to give it a try, watch the video below to see what I thought of this twist on a Cincinnati Classic.
Kirk Cousins has been topic of discussion every year for the last 3-4 off-seasons. Most of the news was centered around his struggle with Dan Snyder and the rest of the Redskins organization for them refusing to commit to him as their long-term franchise quarterback. Kirk cousins decided to gamble and play his way into a contract whether it was with the Redskins or somewhere else. Today his gamble paid off. Kirk Cousins just became the highest paid quarterback in the NFL, YOU LIKE THAT!?
Well, it is official AJ McCarron has won his grievance case against the Bengals and this means he is officially a free agent as of March. This also means that the botched trade with the Browns, as if it wasn’t bad enough, will sting just a little bit more. Continue reading →
Whether it is a passive aggressive subtweet or a team member being accused of faking an injury, something is definitely wrong with the Cavs this year. Whitty shared his theories about the Kevin Love injury last week and it really got me thinking about all the recent Cavs drama, and how it may be all just smoke and mirrors. I pose this question to explain where I am going with this, Why would the most arrogant player of all time want his team off of national television?
I believe Lebron’s master plan is to drive down the appeal of the Cavs for the rest of the season so he can set his price for purchase and completely own Dan Gilbert in his final masterpiece the 30 for 30 special: The Final Decision.
Well, it is sad but football is over for a while and for the rest of the winter and spring 31 of the 32 fan-bases are stuck scratching their heads wondering about what could’ve happened. Experts will immediately start/ continue to analyze the next batch of superstars that will bring glory and championships to franchises. One franchise has some time to celebrate before they have to refocus. Was it the team everyone expected? No, it was a team most of the sports world counted out from week one. The Philadelphia Eagles are the best team in football and it definitely didn’t happen by accident.
No matter the outcome year to year I am a lifelong Bengals fan, I have no idea why at times but I love them. I don’t have all the answers as to how they can fix their woes, nor am I going to run through my ideas because no one cares. I am simply going to say to the Bengals, hopefully, you took notes. The Eagles were the hottest team in free agency, they also have a young coach willing to take chances, and they survived injury with the next man up approach. We were preached change with Marvin Lewis 3.0, I just want them to prove it. The Eagles have a franchise I would try to emulate for years to come!
