Antonio Gates Will Play Tight End in the NFL at the Age of 38

I don’t even know which angle to take on this one. My initial thought on this breaking news was the fact that I’m 6 years younger than Antonio Gates and can’t even comfortably get out of bed in the morning despite not being an NFL tight end. That’s both depressing and impressive. It’s impressive that I can get so sore by being a lethargic blogger and equally impressive that someone that old can still strap it up at such a physical position a weekly basis.   Continue reading

Nati Boys #20: Are The Bengals Bad At Football?

We’ve got a football heavy episode today as we dive deep into the struggling Bengals and talk about whether or not the offensive coordinator change is enough to kick start this offense.  A lot went on during week 2 of the NFL, including Joe Thomas’s milestone, Antonio Gate’s record, Jay Cutler’s return to football and Jerry Jones’s attempt to block the commissioner’s contract extension.  On the college football side, we recap the Bearcats and Buckeyes victories, we’ve got some newcomers in the AP top 25, and we had a wild finish in the Florida/Tennessee game.  Finally, we wrap things up by confessing that the Nati Boys are a little bit more basic than you may have thought.
