The Nati Boys are starting to get fed up with Marvin Lewis and his antics, as he clearly has no control over his team and has resorted to calling out players in the media. Burfict also managed to get himself tossed from another game, so things aren’t going so great in Bengals world right now. We also discuss Greg Olsen’s foray into broadcasting, which has the Vikings organization a little bit upset. Things are looking grim in Dallas as well with Jerry Jones feuding with the rest of the league and Zeke finally starting his 6-game suspension. LiAngelo Ball and his UCLA teammates are finally back in the U.S. after their shoplifting arrest over in China, and Lebron James does battle with Enes Kanter and the New York Knicks. Finally, in honor of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, we wrap up the show with a fantasy draft of things we’re thankful for.
We’ve got a football heavy episode today as we dive deep into the struggling Bengals and talk about whether or not the offensive coordinator change is enough to kick start this offense. A lot went on during week 2 of the NFL, including Joe Thomas’s milestone, Antonio Gate’s record, Jay Cutler’s return to football and Jerry Jones’s attempt to block the commissioner’s contract extension. On the college football side, we recap the Bearcats and Buckeyes victories, we’ve got some newcomers in the AP top 25, and we had a wild finish in the Florida/Tennessee game. Finally, we wrap things up by confessing that the Nati Boys are a little bit more basic than you may have thought.
Who didn’t expect this? Jerry Jones is not happy with Roger Goodell’s current handling of his star running back’s off the field troubles. At this point there’s not much he can do on the Zeke front as it plays out in court, but that doesn’t mean he won’t go down kicking and screaming.
