I’m always stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to style. The stylish clothes don’t fit me like they fit mannequins. I sweat too much and get too hot to rock a baggy sweatshirt all year long. I have exactly one pair of (non-gym) shorts that fit me the way I want and the company that made them doesn’t sell that style anymore. Dry fit team gear is my go-to, but nothing looks more pathetic than wearing a Reds Spring Training workout shirt to a bar when there’s no game on or you’re not pregaming before heading over to Great American Ball Park.
Just like everyone, I look to people I admire for style advice and fashion tips. So, what did I do while I sit here waiting on the Reds’ 1:35pm start time? I started Googling famous people who aren’t skinny and fit the mold of the trendy fashions. That’s when I came across this look. Continue reading →
I’m sure by now you’ve seen about a million blogs, articles and podcast hosts list their WrestleMania 34 predictions. For the most part, you can usually tell how the show is going to go based on the Vegas betting odds and looking ahead at which Superstars are scheduled for work outside of the wrestling ring, etc.
I try to avoid those unless I don’t have much invested in the pay-per-view, and WrestleMania would qualify as one of those special occasions where I’m doing everything within my power to avoid any potential spoilers. So here it goes. This is my wish list of what I hope and think should happen at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans. Continue reading →
Welcome to a Labor Day edition of RAW Recap with El Jefe. Hopefully the grill has cooled down the yard work is completed; if not I got you covered with my review and predictions of this holiday edition of Monday Night Raw.
The show kicked off with a flashback of last weeks confrontation between Roman Reigns and John Cena. Obviously with it announced that the WWE will try to limit the path crossing between Brock and Braun ahead of No Mercy the Cena/ Reigns feud will be front and center for weeks to come.
Welcome to another edition of the RAW Recap with El Jefe…Monday night was action packed from the get go and would be all about the push for the “No Mercy” Pay Per View (Sept. 24th). How would new rivalries be built and old storylines continue heading into the event coming in about 3-4 weeks?
Welcome to another edition of the RAW Recap with El Jefe where I like to offer my prediction on things to come based on a review of each weeks episode. Monday night RAW kicked off back in Brooklyn following a wild SummerSlam. With the biggest party of the summer over the “Red Brand” wasted no time on Monday setting storylines for the next pay per view event; No Mercy (September 24th). No Mercy promises to be an event full of score settling and could see the rise of new superstars.
Well folks we only have six days until the biggest party of the summer. WWE's pay per view SummerSlam is this Sundays, and it will be a joint brand show. You will have to follow @MillironMac for all the updates on Smackdown leading into this jammed packed show. The build on both sides is clear though; we may possibly see the two top titles switch hands. Tonight's installment of RAW was all about the final push to SummerSlam and it was a crazy show.
Raw kicked off Monday night with a couple disappointments for me. First off I discovered Kurt Angle was from Pittsburgh so I don’t know if I can like him anymore. Secondly they made a Pittsburgh Penguins Stanley Cup Champs reference less then two minutes into the show. Being the consummate professional I am I will move past it and do my regularly scheduled RAW Recap. By Being the bigger man and recapping a episode of RAW hosted in ShitsPittsburgh; I expect lots of comments and likes on this post.
Monday Night Raw returned tonight with its focus towards building storylines ahead of SummerSlam. It was an action packed show and it appears SummerSlam is being built up to be a huge blockbuster. Will major titles change hands at the upcoming Pay Per View and will SummerSlam be able to live up to the hype that is being built around it?
The WWE had its universe of fans buzzing all week about what Kurt Angle’s mysterious announcement would be this week on Raw. It is no surprise that they would use the first two hours of the show to tease this announcement attempting to keep fans on the edge of their seats.
Welcome to another Raw Recap with Jefe; where I breakdown the latest episode of RAW and offer my predictions on future matches. Tonight’s Raw featured the continued development of storylines that should carry into SummerSlam. Last nights pay per view (Great Balls of Fire) in my opinion was an amazing success. It brought back flashes of the “Attitude Era” with a brutal end to the Ambulance Match. Titles were retained, friendships were ended, and rivalries continued. So what happened on tonight’s RAW?
